Team

Three people, on both sides of the deal.

Between us: content distribution, cross-border capital, and the retail network behind IP commercialization.

  • Jerry Sun

    Jerry Sun

    孙亚銎 · Founder & CEO

A serial entrepreneur and investor working at the intersection of film, IP management and digital entertainment. As a former partner at iQIYI — China’s leading streaming platform, with more than 100 million paying subscribers — he built his expertise in content distribution, audience engagement and scaled IP monetization.

A graduate of the Beijing Film Academy (Master’s degree), Jerry works across both sides of the business: he is the majority shareholder of a major merchandise licensing management firm and of a film distribution company. That combination of creative instinct and commercial strategy is what lets us turn an artistic vision into a working market.

  • Zhang Lei

    Zhang Lei

    张雷 · Co-Founder & Partner

As the founder of X11, Zhang Lei is one of the leading figures in China’s trendy toy (art toy) industry. He built X11 into a brand recognised worldwide for immersive retail experiences and cultural IP commercialization.

Under his leadership, X11 created the super-sized specialty retail format: more than 2,000 SKUs across 20+ categories, in stores designed to be shared — including its 2,000 sqm Shanghai flagship, which drew 50,000 visitors on opening day. He works at the meeting point of retail, art and community, and has built partnerships with global IP including Pokémon and Crayon Shin-chan, alongside independent designers.

A frequent speaker at industry summits such as the HI FUNNY World animation week, Zhang Lei argues for cross-border collaboration and new models of IP monetization. His work on merging offline retail with digital fandom has made him a central figure in shaping the trendy toy and pop culture ecosystem across Greater China.
